Since September 2014, the College Re-Entry program has worked with students to provide them with a bridge between clinical treatment and resuming their studies.
Our students are between the ages of 18 and 30. Prior to and throughout the program, they are receiving clinical treatment for a major mood disorder (e.g., bipolar disorder, major depressive disorder), anxiety disorder or a schizophrenia spectrum disorder (e.g., schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, psychosis NOS).
We look for students who are motivated to return to school after a medical health-related absence and who are currently receiving clinical treatment. Students in our semester-long Core program meet four days a week, both virtually and in-person at our Center in NYC.
